Our Before/After School Programs
Welcome to the before and after school programs at Kiddies Korner Daycare in Kamloops. We have individual programs for children to enhance language, literacy, music and movement, art and socialization skills.
Our Programs:
Infant toddler program
In our infant toddler program, our babies are given lots of room to explore! We have a variety of fun sensory and gross and fine motor activities to keep them busy and ensure their development is growing as it should be. We ensure that your child is in a loving environment while you are away!
3-5 year program
Our 3 to 5-year-old preschool program runs from September to June in the morning hour for our enrolled children. We are a play-based daycare, but our classroom is influenced by many curriculums including some Montessori-inspired fine motor activities. Our teaching staff focuses in constantly changing the classroom environment to better suit the learning needs of each child.
After school program
Our regular after school program encourages children to relax after a busy day. They can play outside with other kids, engage themselves in gym activities or express their creativity through arts and crafts. We also encourage quiet activities if our students request outside of place, playground or gym activities. Our services are open during all school in-service days, Christmas break, spring break and summer vacation. With 2 large capacity vans, we are able to go on many in-town and out-of-town field trips, which is an advantage not available to many other daycare facilities.
